As you go through life, there are many things that you may regret. One of the things that many families end up regretting is not getting family photos taken as often as they would like. Perhaps a family member passes away unexpectedly and you will find yourself wishing you had more photos together, or perhaps your kids grew up in the blink of an eye and you really wish you had more pictures together. While you cannot go back in time and get more pictures, you can start taking family photos more often now, and ensuring that you never again regret not having the amount of photos that you would like.

Families and Events Photography FAQ
The golden hour, about an hour before sunset, gives the most beautiful, warm light for outdoor sessions. For indoor or studio shoots, any time works well. Spring and autumn are my favourite seasons in Milton Keynes for the colours and soft natural light.
Everyone is welcome! Partners, children, grandparents, even your dog. I've photographed families of two and families of twenty. The more the merrier. Group shots and individual portraits are all included in your session.
A typical session lasts 60-90 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to relax, try different setups, and capture natural moments without feeling rushed. For families with very young children, I always allow extra time for feeds and breaks.
I recommend coordinating colours rather than matching outfits. Think complementary tones like blues and creams, or earthy neutrals. Avoid large logos and busy patterns. If you're unsure, I'm always happy to help advise on outfit choices before your session.
I shoot across Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire. Popular spots include Campbell Park and the Tree Cathedral. Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas have plenty of beautiful locations to offer, so we can always find the perfect spot for your family photoshoot. I also offer sessions at your home for a relaxed, personal feel. Every family is different, and I'm happy to adapt to your needs and preferences. If you have a favourite location in mind, I'd love to work there too.
The number of photos depends on the package you choose. My starting package includes 15 fully edited, high-resolution images, with a 30-photo package also available. I can adapt to your needs and the occasion, so if you need more coverage, just let me know. All images are individually colour-corrected and retouched, and delivered via an online gallery within 2-3 weeks. You also get a print release so you can order prints anywhere.
Yes! I offer milestone sessions, cake smash sessions for first birthdays, and family shoots with babies of any age. Whether it's their first steps or a fun messy cake smash, I love capturing these precious moments. Safety and comfort always come first.
